The decision of the winner of the Call for proposal; Design and visual identity for the project ‘Make a Move’
We are delighted to announce the winner of the Call for proposal; Design and visual identity for the project ‘Make a Move’.
The logo that we choose for our project ‘Make a Move’ is by the authors: Nevena Vretenar and Ana Somek.
We would like to thank all the participants for their time and enthusiasm. We had a hard time selecting among the number of very creative and interesting proposals and at the end, we picked the solution most appropriate for our project.
We opt for three strong, dynamic movements, very different each for themselves.
By drawing multiple lines which keep flowing we gained that feeling of a continuous movement and its’ dynamic. It can be compared to animation as well.
They’re soft, tender and fluid approaching each other while taking a distance from each other a moment later.
While using soft, infinite flowing lines rather than harsh quadrate ones we got exactly what we were seeking for – an unbounded, energetic and fluid movement which keeps flowing to infinity. Thus, “Make a move” logo encourages that sensation of deliberating movement and an aspiration to change which leads to more freedom. A group of movement-based theatre artists deciding to take action to affect change in the ability of the non-institutionalised theatre sector to evolve and bring theatre closer to contemporary society.
By adding colors which mutually combine inside the elements we inspired a strength to a logo. As it is the case with three different approaches to a logo thus we
have four strong colors which stirringly apply on logos.
