SANTA’S GRUMPINESS

Christmas production of the school year 2016/17,
Contemporary Theater For Children and Youth
December 23, 2016, at 7 pm at the Croatian Cultural Center in Sušak

The play presents the character of Santa Claus in a new way. Santa Clause is presented in a more complex figure from one that we are used to. In this play, he is presented as a regular human being like any of us. A human being that has been lost and blinded because of all obligations and labels that were attached to him by the modern society. In this play he is going through a personal crisis, he is seeking his true calling, his purpose, and he is trying to get in tune with his real nature. The focus of this play is answering all time questions “Who am I?”, “What am I doing here?” but from children’s perspective, so it’s a play full of humor and interesting observations.
